Pictodon puts the power of videogame character customization systems in a standalone application, which you can use to design portraits of your own unique characters.

History

After finding herself loading up videogames to create character portraits for pen-and-paper roleplaying games, Tess Snider found herself asking, "Hey, why don't I have a program for this?" This is where the idea for Pictodon was born. She wanted to capture the user-friendliness of videogame character customization systems, while freeing users from limitations on genre and intellectual property reuse. Hidden Achievement's Pictodon Kickstarter is intended to raise money to fund development, and to provide a robust bundled content library to get users started making their first portraits.

Features

• Customize your character’s physical characteristics. Shape her face and body. Choose skin color and eye color. Place scars and tattoos.
• Pick your character’s hairstyle and makeup. Deck your character out in clothing and accessories.
• Choose your character’s pose, facial expression, background, and lighting.
• Take a picture of your character, and share with your friends!
